Station 81 was built in 1996 to protect the South territory of the Little York fire district. This station protects the areas of Bellmar, Colonial Hills, West Point Estates, Fallbrook, Northline Terrance, Ridge Point, Bluebell Village , and portions of Interstate 45.
Little York took control of services of station 83 from the Rushwood VFD to protect the Northwest territory of the district in 1973. This station protects the areas of Rushwood, Lincoln Green, Sable Chase, Sable Ridge, Torrey Pines, Heritage Village, Silver Glen, Silver Glen West, Camden Park, Hambledon, Cornerstone Village, McKamy Meadows and portions of North Sam Houston Parkway.
Station 84 was built in 1988 to protect the Northeast territory of the Little York fire district. This station protects the areas of Cranbrook , Dominion Park , Laurel Oaks, Silver Glen North and portions of Interstate 45.
To the right is Rescue Boat 81. This is a 2001 16’ flat bottom aluminum boat with a Johnson 90hp motor. This boat is equipped with life jackets for crew, adults, and children as well as rescue throw rope and throw rings. The primary function of this boat is to rescue citizens from high water areas with Little York’s district.  

 

To the left is Engine 81. This is a 2000 Pierce with a 1000 gallon water tank, 30 gallon class “A” foam and 50 gallon class “B” foam system. This apparatus carries a complete set of rescue tools and air bags as well as other forcible entry and fire suppression equipment. The primary function of this apparatus is to provide first out for fire, EMS, hazmat, and rescue within 81’s district.
To the right is Tanker 81. This is a 2000 Pierce with a 3000 gallon water tank. The apparatus is also equipped with a dump tank for heavy water shuttles. The primary function of this apparatus is to provide water for the area of Little York’s district not covered by fire hydrants.

 

  Rescue 81

This apparatus is a 1998 Central States/Freightliner and is a Rescue/Pumper combination. This apparatus has a full set of rescue tools, air bags, rescue struts, as well as other forcible entry and rescue tools. This apparatus is also equipped with one hour SCBA and has a 4 bank cascade system on broad. The apparatus also carries 750 gallons of water, 30 gallon foam tank, fire fighting  and supply hose.      

 

To the right is Booster 81. This is a 2004 Chevy 3500 with 250 gallons of water, and a 10 gallon class “A” foam system. This apparatus has basic forcible entry equipment and basic equipment for grass and brush fires. The primary function of this apparatus is to respond to grass and brush fires within Little York’s district.
To the left  is Utility 81. This is a 1999 Chevy 2500 truck. This truck was placed in-service in 1999 as a booster truck assigned to station 81. In 2004 it was converted to a utility vehicle to be used as a supply/support vehicle for the department. This is the main vehicle that pulls rescue boat 81.

To the left is Rescue 84. This is a 2003 Pierce. The apparatus carries two sets of airbags, two complete sets of rescue tools, forcible entry tools, hazmat spill kits, ventilation equipment, spare SCBA packs, spare SCBA bottles, and various other rescue equipment.. The apparatus is also equipped with a 5 bank on board cascade system. The primary function of this apparatus is to respond to rescue and hazmat incidents within Little York’s district.
To the right  is Utility 84. This is a 1998 Chevy 2500 truck. This truck was placed in-service in 1998 as a booster truck assigned to station 84. In 2003 it was converted to a utility vehicle to be used as a supply/support vehicle for the department. This is the main vehicle that pulls rescue boat 84.

To the left is the Fire Chief vehicle.  It is a 2006 Chevrolet equipped with basic forcible entry tools, air packs, RIT bag, electronic accountability, and various other safety equipment used on the incident scene.  The primary function of this unit is to respond to all types of incidents in Little York's territory and respond with mutual aid and can be used in all functions of command.
To the right is the Assistant Chief vehicle.  It is a 2005 Chevrolet equipped with basic forcible entry tools, air packs, RIT bag, electronic accountability, and various other safety equipment used on the incident scene.  The primary function of this unit is to respond to all types of incidents in Little York's territory and respond with mutual aid and can be used in all functions of command.
To the left is the Deputy Chief vehicle.  It is a 2005 Chevrolet equipped with basic forcible entry tools, air packs, RIT bag, electronic accountability, and various other safety equipment used on the incident scene.  The primary function of this unit is to respond to all types of incidents in Little York's territory and respond with mutual aid and can be used in all functions of command.
To the right is a 1996 Ford Club Wagon Van made into the department Rehab vehicle in 2005.  The primary function of this unit is to respond to all incident types in Little York's territory involving extended incident scene times.  This unit is run by Little York's Women's Rehab Team.  It features cool mist fans, cold towels, water, Gatorade, and other sources of nutrients to replenish Firefighters at the scene.  This unit is currently assigned to Station 81.
